Julie:
I currently do not understand why there have been so many varying
reports about my post last Friday re Frank S. Todd's upcoming Tanner Award
Lecture at the BYU Bean Museum on Tues, April 13 at 7 p.m.. It has
been suggested that there may have been a server problem.
No matter. My intention was to inform the birding and naturalist
community about this highly significant lecture that, to my knowledge, has
not been well-publicized. Let's hope that we can provide
a large, appreciative audience.

Subject: [birdnet] Suppressed post?
I, too, received the post about the lecture at 1:16 on April
9--no suppression as far as I can tell. This was followed much later
by Kris Purdy's report of her visit to Antelope Island and the birds she
saw--a report of one's personal birding experiences/sightings is what most
of us put on Birdnet. I hope that people will not be
discouraged from posting their sightings by this kind of
response.
