Hi,
I made my annual trek to Fish Springs today. Just in case my main target eluded me, I thought I would list everything in the order I saw it. Sage Thrasher, Say's Phoebe, coot, Cinnamon Teal, GB Heron, N. Harrier, Mallard, Redhead, Pintail, A. Wigeon, Canada Goose, Gadwall, Snowy Egret, Red-winged Blackbird, Raven, Savannah Sparrow, DC Cormorant, AW Pelican, Marsh Wren, Sandhill Crane, Yellow-headed Blackbird, Pied-billed Grebe, N. Shoveler, A. Avocet, Bufflehead, Canvasback, Lesser Scaup, Meadow Lark, N. Flicker, Long-billed Dowitcher, Ruddy, Red-breasted Merganser, Ring-necked Duck, Loggerhead Shrike, Vesper Sparrow, Ring-billed Gull, Black-crowned Night Heron, Eared Grebe, Swan (no yellow on lores, but no green or pink wings or neck bands, so probably Tundra - too far for head shape), Black-necked Stilt, A. Pipit, House Finch, and Green-winged Teal.
I am now 50% on American Bitterns here. None today.
