Message: Just wanted to let people know great blue herons are flying to and
from Egg island of the northwest corner of antelope island. I also viewed
cormoronts this morning flying back and forth. Both species nest on Egg
island. Kill deer sighted and calling at the parks entrance station.
A flock of approximately 100+ tundra swans south of the entrance station and
a few to the north.
I also heard a long billed curlew yesterday 3-8-04 but no sighting. I can
keep you posted. I know there are song birds coming into the ranch area but
have not been down to see what is there. Keith Evans and I believe Jack
Rensel have been out and may know what is there.
