I went to Lee Kay ponds this afternoon to see what I could find out there. Lots of Ring-billed and Californias, a hand full of Herrings and one adult Thayer's flew in just before I left at 430. I tried really hard making some juvi Ring-billed into other gulls but nothing, a few Coots, C. Goldeneyes and Mallards.
At the Jordan River Parkways around 2400 S. in SLC the birds that were reported earlier are still there. The White Pelican is just south of the little canal that comes in from the west.
My camera broke. So I got a bit crazier and bought the Rebel Digital so get ready for more and more pics from me this year.
