Made the trip across the causeway to Antelope Island this afternoon.
There were two snow buntings on the south side of the causeway between
mm 1 & 2, observed at around 3:45 p.m. It seems that the majority of the
horned larks I saw were found between mm 1-4, with a more or less equal
distribution of birds on both sides of the causeway. Did not see any
longspurs, but since visibility was less than optimal I'm just glad to
have seen the buntings.
