There are large numbers of birds at the Hyrum Dam
this week. Loons, Grebes, Gulls, Geese, Ducks, and one Great Blue
Heron. It was rather late in the day and the light was getting poor when
we were there, so it was hard to sort them all out. You will need a scope
as it is hard to get very close the the birds, unless you go hiking.
Brrrrr, too cold for that. I kinda like the window scope mount so I can
stay in the warm car and look. :)
