The Green Herons are still out at the Provo Airport dike it was a lifer for me. I have been chasing the little boogers for a while now. The were in that large tree where the road turns west (away) from the ponds. There were 53 snowy egrets out as well. Another little bird I had not see this year was a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. I only need two more lifers before to reach 300. I want to get there before the end of the year. But this time I am not going to get in the same jam as last year by make the promise that if I don't get my goal I would give up bird watching.
