Subject: Avian Nursery

My backyard is a popular place for the birds so popular that parents will bring their fledgings here to get a taste of feeder food.
For the past week a family of Steller's Jays have been coming for peanuts and such. The juvies are very clean as well as long and lanky. The highlight has been the Evening Grosbeak family. 
Quite often the parents will leave them here knowing that there is food to eat. I guess that makes my yard the local avian nursery.
