Migration

Isn't migration grand!  One day this week I awoke to lots of white-crowned 
sparrows and a black-headed grosbeak singing.  The common grackles returned 
with a roar that same day and today I had a ruby-crowned kinglet visit.  It 
makes you wonder what you miss when you don't spend a day in the yard 
birding.
