Today I walked south of the 4800 South entrance to the
JRP. There were lots of beautiful spring birds including Bullock's
Orioles, American Goldfinches, Yellow
Warblers, a couple of Cedar Waxwings, a
Black-headed Grosbeak and even a Western
Tanager. My favorite bird of the day, however, was a
Common Yellowthroat which was across the river from the
Kennecott Nature Center.
