This morning, May 3, we saw the following notable birds on the Antelope
Island Causeway:
1 Dunlin
3 Semipalmated Sandpipers
1 Whimbrel
2 Bonaparte's Gulls
2 Greater Yellowlegs
200 Marbled Godwits
1 very rufous Western Sandpiper (for a moment, I thought we had a
Little/Red-necked Stint - wish,wish!)
and, the Barn Owl was in the barn.
A Blue-winged Teal was at Pineview Reservoir. It was in a small pond,
located at the east end of the reservoir, across the highway from the
Middle Inlet Swim Area.
