Hi All.
Friday, April 25, 2003 11:00am
I'm looking at my first Utah Yellow-rumped warblers - they're in the trees
in the back yard. I forgot they were going to be the "Audubon's" so the
darker colors were a fun surprise!
A friend of mine from Minnesota stumbled onto an interesting website to help
her identify birds.
It's http://bdi.org
You choose from a list of possibilities including range, size, shape, field
marks, color, etc. and their guide data base narrows down the possibilities
for you.
I know none of YOU guys probably need this kind of help, but for beginning
birders, it could be a great tool. Check it out!
