Can you help?

I will be in Salt Lake City April 24-May1.  Is there a birding trip on
Saturday or Sunday, April 26 or 27 that I could join?  I'm doing research
at the Family History Library, but have not been in Utah before (nor west
for some years) and would love to spend a morning or entire day birding
the area.  I'm a reasonably good beginner, but would be willing to join
any group or individual.  I will be without a car, but can take TRAX if
necessary.  If no trips are available, can you suggest some place easy to
get to where I can do a little birding?  Thanks for your help.
