Anne Halley and I birded the Lee Kay Ponds on Saturday.
We saw a nice assortment of ducks, American Avocets, Black-necked Stilts,
Eared-Grebes, Cormorants, Great Blue Herons, Franklin's Gulls and Yellow-headed
and Brewer's Blackbirds. The bird of the day, however, was a beautiful
breeding Horned Grebe. These birds were all seen from the north side of
the ponds. The gates to the road that goes around the pond were
closed. Does anyone know how to access the entire loop?
