Thw Owl in question has been identified as a Boreal Owl. It was seen in Card Canyon near the archery range off Logan Canyon. The bill color, dark border around the facial disc and spotting on the forehead all point to Boreal owl.
Two great birds (Fulvous Whistling-Duck and Boreal Owl) within the same weekend. What will there be tomorrow?
