To all,
For those of you who are going to look for the Ovenbird following Kris'
excellent directions -- yesterday at about 5:00 p.m., Jack Binch and I
saw 2 Ovenbirds. One was where Kris has attached her pink ribbons to
the scrub oaks about 100 and 150 yards south of the junction of the
Taylor Trail and the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. The other was directly
at the junction of the 2 trails. This bird sang, and flew a little to
the northeast up the hill. Kris' original bird will undoubtedly sing
for you quite well so you can locate it.
