Mandarin duck sighting

I live the the willows condo complex. last week I spotted a male mandarin 
duck and a female. It could have been either a female wood duck or a a 
female Mandarin. Little cottonwood creek flows around my building. I took 
a photo of the pair. I have not seen them again. We do have a number of 
ponds, in the complex. I have not had time check them all out. I have only 
seen one of them down by Mesquite a few years ago. I thought it was a bit 
unusual.
