Bear River Refuge Waterbird Count

Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge
Box Elder County
Waterbird/Raptor Survey
12/10/04

Our wetland units are still about 90% frozen over despite the recent
warming trend and the rains. The majority of the ducks have left the
Refuge. However, duck numbers are still double what we had this time last
year. Notable sightings include two juvenile Black-crowned Night Herons.
