Bewicks Swan

I guided tours Saturday at Farmington Bay for Tundra Swan Day. It was a
beautiful day with lots of swans mostly congregated on the interior far
east side. on two of the tours the Bewicks Swan was sighted. This area
was part of our tour route Saturday but unfortunately is not opened to
the public right now due to the nesting season.

In addition to the Bewicks Swan we saw several pairs of Sandhill
Cranes, Avocets are returning we saw several small groups of them and a
great assortment of ducks in their brightest breeding plumage, lots of
pelicans and we saw several cormorants. There are still a quite few
eagles around. It was a great day
