Garr Ranch

My husband and I visited Garr Ranch Friday around noon.  We found 1
Long-eared owl on the south side of the ranch-he let us watch him for
about 15 minutes before flying off into the Russian olives by the stream.
What a beautiful bird!  We also saw a short-eared owl fly out from the
same area (tree next to the long-eared).  Other than that, very few
species but the Mountain bluebirds were everywhere. a sure sign of spring.
