Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge
Waterbird/Raptor Count
12/12/03

Refuge waters back open though very few birds.  Around 10,000 total
waterfowl compared to 40,000 this time in 2002.  Three Great Egrets still
hanging around and a late Eared Grebe were notable birds.  A total of 90
raptors of 6 species counted.
