Subject: Antelope/Farmington late post

Sorry for the late post. Dana Green, Pomera Fronce and I birded Antelope and Farmington on Sunday, 2-23-03. Not too much of interest except the Long-tailed Duck is still on north side of causeway approximately mm2-3; one was also near the spit on the south side of the causeway at the marina junction--same bird? Least Sandpipers also on causeway. Townsend's Solitaire at ranch, Tree Sparrows on the way to the ranch, Chukars in several places. Farmington area: Merlin at junction of Glover Lane at the little park on the road to the fairgrounds; mostly common ducks; a Glaucous-winged Gull at the first bridge; many Bald Eagles still.

Good birding y'all,
Julie
