powell sleugh

I went to Powell Sleugh on Saturday afternoon to do a little cold-weather 
birding.  Below is the list of some of the birds that I saw there and at the 
ponds behind the Orem City treatment plant:

Ruddy duck
American goldfinch
Belted kingfisher
Canada goose
Coot
Gadwall
Great blue heron
Northern harrier
Pied-billed grebe
Red-winged blackbird

Not bad for an hour of birding.
