Being in the area of Leeds this week, I checked Red
Cliffs Recreation. While spishing a group of flitting White-crowned Sparrows, a
beautiful breeding plumaged Golden-crowned Sparrow poped up to look around.It
was such a good looking bird I couldn't take my eyes off him. The group of birds
seemed to be hanging around the Host camp site that is covered with an awning,
he must be f
eeding them.Good bird to start the New
Year.
