Bewick's Wren, Great Egret

Hi Friends,  At about ten this a.m., Friday, 10/18/02:

>From east and south, drive around Lincon Point.  On left, green fence
with many yellow tags ends at cattle guard (row of poplar trees left of
road).  Bewick's Wren was 0.1 mile beyond cattle guard with large flock
of Juncos, lakeside in the tallest tree, Hackberry??  Great Egret was
with Ring-billed Gulls and Snowy Egrets ln rushes at edge of the lake at
0.5 mile.  Beautiful sight in the Fall sunshine.
