The Rufous
Hummingbirds have just shown up at my feeders also (in Sandy). They really are
fun to watch...the female perches on the hook above one of the feeders and
chases off any other hummers coming nearby. (I'm not sure why I bother
having two feeders or why feeders have more the one port, because they just
won't share!!)
P.S. if anyone knows a
good way to keep cats out of their yard, please let me know - I've had a big
problem this year with a particularly voracious and skillful cat
