 Just a reminder that the Great Salt Lake Bird Festival starts this Saturday, May 18th and goes until Saturday,May 25th!

ART SHOW - GREAT SALT LAKE BIRD FESTIVAL, SAT. MAY 18
 
Nature photographer James McIntyre will exhibit  ~24 of his fine-art bird photographs in the GSLBF Art Show at the Davis County Fairpark on Saturday, May 18 in a display entitled Birds of Great Salt Lake - A Closer View.  The Art Show will run all day Saturday; there is no admission charge.  He will be present to discuss his pictures from 5 to 6 p.m.

NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY WALK - GREAT BEAR RIVER BIRD FESTIVAL, SAT. MAY 25, 8:00 a.m.
 
James McIntyre will  lead a nature photography walk at the annual Festival at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge on Saturday, May 25.  He will discuss basic principles of nature photography, including cameras, lenses, film, techniques and ethics.  Examples of his work may be seen on the Utah Ornithological Society website:

The tour will depart from the main shop building at the Refuge at 8:00 a.m.
 
To reach the Refuge, take I-15 to Brigham City and exit at #366 (Forest Street).  Drive 12 miles west to the Refuge.
