Paul,
Your posting was exciting about the Little Blue Heron. Shame on not =
having a small pair of binoculars. I bought a small pair just to carry =
with me. Went to that reservoir yesterday evening, but couldn't see the =
part you mentioned. As I went west on Valley View Drive I stayed to the =
north and found a place in a new development call Artist's Way. I =
parked in the cul-de-sac and went north down to the shore. I saw the =
Double-crested Cormorants (3), Forsters' Tern, Black-crowned Night Heron =
(2), Western Grebe (2), a Yellow-rumped Warbler, AND a Common Loon. =
Added two to my yearly list and the loon was a lifer for me.
