Rosy Finches

The Salt Lake Birders had a blast on their early-morning field trip today
(Sat. April 6). There were sage grouse on both sides of the road at the
Henefer lek sight, putting on a show. The Black Rosy Finches and a single
Gray-Crowned Rosy Finch were seen at the upper end of the Alta Bypass Road
between 10 a.m. and 11a.m. The Blacks were a lifer for most of the viewers.
The finches were in the treetops and one came to Susan's feeder. Carol
