I was talking on the phone today when I heard a different finch song outside. It was a Cassin's Finch in my back yard in Taylorsville (eye ring, rosy breast, red crest puffed up on top, singing his heart out). Got him on tape. What a treat! I guess he just stopped by for some sunflower seeds. Carol Davis
