I have not been able to get any further information on the four
<br />
collared cygnets on the Colorado River NE of Moab other than the access is next to impossible without floating 30 miles of the river (leaving from Lolo, CO).

For those of you to whom this is new information, there are (were?) 4 collared cygnets on the Colorado River ~1/2 mile upstream from the Westwater BLM Ranger station. Unfortunately, the observers did not get collar numbers and access is very limited due to a bald eagle nesting restriction, private property, etc. If anyone has any contacts in the
<br />
area, any interest in taking a trip to the area, or any other ideas please contact me for further information. We do know the birds are color dyed on the right wing and therefore translocated from Harriman State Park. I have a very strong feeling these 4 swans are part of a group moved to the Bear River Dec. 14, and part of the group that included the swan that traveled to Yuma, AZ.
