We saw three bald eagles out on the water today at Antelope Island, a
least sandpiper hanging around with some killdeer, the photo-friendly
prairie falcon, shovelers and lots of goldeneyes. We were also
treated to a porcupine up a tree, a herd of pronghorns, some coyotes
howling on the Garr Ranch road, and a close-up view of a kestrel
eating a mouse.
We saw three bald eagles at Farmington Bay along with a rough-legged
hawk, a northern harrier, some kestrels and a beautiful red-tailed
hawk.
