Joel and I saw the Ruff this morning (Sunday, 12/23) at about 9:30--a
lifer for both of us. It's great that it's hanging around and so easy to
see! On the way back home, we looked for the Lapland Longspur at the
Antelope Island Causeway, but no luck. Just like last week, there were
hundreds of Horned Larks and American Pipits spread out between mile
markers 1 and 4 along the south side. Also, there were TWO female
Long-tailed Ducks at the first bridge on the north side.
Good birding!
