Red-throated Loon at Quail Creek

This morning (11/22) at 8:45, I observed a Red-throated Loon on Quail Creek
Reservoir.  There are currently three species of loons (also Pacific and
Common) on the Reservoir, allowing nice comparisons.  The Red-throated loon
was approximately 100 meters west of the overlook parking area near the
Quail Creek Dike.  Common and Pacific Loons were foraging immediately below
the dike.  Other birds at Quail this morning included Hooded and Common
Mergansers, an adult Bald Eagle, and a Prairie Falcon.
