Re: [birdnet] cassins vireo

Kent and Sally,

Just curious what time of day you were at Garr Ranch, and how long did you
hang around to find those neat birds? We were at Garr Ranch Saturday about
4:00 PM
and observed for an hour in the same area. The only two birds seen were a
Magpie and a Thrasher. I was some surprised at the absence of English
Sparrows, Robins, and Pigeons. Whoever heard of a ranch without those three?

After we left the ranch and started back toward the marina, we stopped
along the road, and finally got a good Look at a Sage Thrasher. There
seemed to be quite a few of them present. This was a lifer for both the
wife and I.

That made our day!
