Burrowing Owls

On a recent trip to Grand Junction (5/22) I took a spin through the
thriving metropolis of Cisco, UT (off of I-70). Population is about 7,
including dogs. There were at least two pairs of burrowing owls
occupying prairie dog holes in the greater city limits. Some years I
have seen up to five pairs in this area.
