Fellow birders:
I live in a SLC bungalow in a very quiet neighborhood. I've been here 2 =
years now, and it very quickly became my favorite home and neighborhood =
of all time. The location is a well kept secret which has helped to =
keep home prices within reach for many of us. =20
When I first looked at my house I immediately realized the potential for =
creating a wonderful backyard bird habitat. Many huge trees surround my =
yard. =20
I am now in the finishing stages of converting what was an all grass =
backyard into a truly wonderful bird paradise. It has been one of the =
most satisfying projects of my life. Many bird visitors...Downy =
Woodpeckers, Mountain and Black-capped Chickadees, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, =
Red-breasted Nuthatch, Scrub Jays, Juncos, Goldfinches, Lesser =
Goldfinches, Black-headed Grosbeak, Green-tailed Towhee, Mourning Doves, =
Robins, Quail, White-crowned Sparrows, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Hermit =
Thrush, Yellow Warbler, House Finches and English Sparrows (of course) =
etc. Also frequent fly overs of ducks and geese from Liberty Park.
Now, the point of my email. There is a nice little house with a =
backyard that abuts my back yard. What a great way to enlarge and share =
the bird habitat. =20
If anyone is looking for a modestly priced home in a great, well kept =
secret, downtown location, please email me, or better yet, give me a =
call. I'd be happy to let you know more of the neighborhood, and give =
you the name of the Realtor who just put the sign in the yard yesterday. =
I'd really like to have a good neighbor who enjoys the captivating =
beauty of birds.
