Fish Springs NWR

I managed to make it out to Fish Springs today with my family. We didn't
spend too much time on the refuge. The best bird of the day was a male
Eurasion Wigeon (only the second record for the refuge) in the northeast
corner of shoveler unit. There was also a lone Snow Goose, a Bonaparte's
Gull molting into alternate plumage and four Long-billed Dowitchers in the
same location. Also, the numbers of ducks on the refuge is pretty
spectacular right now.
