UCB Year 2000 Birding Contest is OVER!

The Utah County Birders Year 2000 Millennial Birding Contest if =
officially over.

All participants with Internet access should record their birding =
accomplishments on the Contest Web Page.

Click http://64.6.171.126/birding/contest/contest1.php3 for direct =
access to the birding page. Note - you can also get to this page by =
going to http://www.utahnature.com  and entering a user ID of "birding" =
and a password of "contest2000".

Once at the Year 2000 Contest Completion Form, choose your own User ID =
and Password and fill in your personal information and click =
=91Submit=92. Remember your User ID and Password and use them again the =
next time you return. Once your personal information is entered, it need =
not be entered again.

Put a check mark in all the items completed for the contest, and click =
=91Submit=92.

Next, record your bird sightings by county by clicking on =91Add all =
your bird sightings for Each County Here=92 link.

Please record all your bird sightings by county regardless of whether =
you completed the 25 species per county part of the contest or not. I =
will make the sighting database available to BYU for study when all the =
data has been gathered.

The contest web page and contest sighting database are on my personal =
Internet Server in my home. I require User IDs and Passwords to keep out =
people who would destroy or misuse the data. If you have any problems or =
questions, send me an email to robin@utahnature.com .

We will have the Contest award ceremony and new officer swear-in on =
Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at a local restaurant (to be announced =
later).

All participants will receive a computer printed certificate and will =
have the opportunity to purchase contest memorabilia.=20
