Salem Pond in November by Milt Moody

Directions: From the North: From Main St. in Spanish Fork
go south about 4 miles out of town (becomes UT 198) to the middle of Salem.
Turn left on 300 West and then immediately left on 200 South and you'll run
into the pond in about a block. Description: .Salem, a small town 3 miles east of Payson [and 4 miles south of Spanish Fork] has a residential area built around a 5 acre pond. This pond rarely freezes over in the winter and is a great place to see wintering and migrating waterfowl. There is a park and a marsh at one corner of the pond that collect migrants in the spring. This pond is very accessible and almost always productive, especially in winter. ~ Robin Tuck eBird Data:
