Directions: Battle Creek Canyon is located at the East end of 200 South (Battle Creek Dr.) in Pleasant Grove, Utah County.

Birding: You can hike the trail up the canyon along the river passing Battle Creek Falls (about a mile up the canyon).   The best birding is generally near the mouth of the canyon.  Cross the bridge over the stream to the North of the parking area and bird the riparian habitat East of the pavilion.    
 
Specialty birds: Black-headed Grosbeak, Lazuli Bunting, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Spotted Towhee, Warbling and Plumbeous Vireo, Brown Creeper (winter), Western Screech-Owl, Common Poorwill, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Hermit Thrush

Other Close Birding Areas:

     Anderson Park - Go back down 200 South (Battle Creek Dr.) less than a mile to 950 East and turn right. Go north about 1 1/2 blocks to the park.
     Grove Creek Canyon - Go back down 200 South (Battle Creek Dr.) about 1/2 mile and turn right (north) on 1300 East.  Go north to 500 North (Grove Creek Dr.) and turn right going east.  Go less than 1/4 mile to the Grove Creek Trailhead parking lot.
