Seeking experienced birders!!
Tracy Aviary, in partnership with the Utah
Division of Wildlife Resources is seeking local birders to participate
in the North American Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) in Utah. This
long-term, international avian monitoring program provides crucial
data on the status, population trends, and distribution of the birds
we all love.
Currently, 16 Utah routes are unclaimed for 2019. Sign up for a route
today and help fill the gaps in this important data source, and be an
integral part of bird conservation in Utah. Participants must be able
to identify all birds of a region by sight and sound. The survey
requires only one field day per year.
