Here are the Area Locations to put with the Area numbers above:

1- Southeast Bountiful, including Mueller Park and Bountiful Golf Course.

2- City Creek Canyon, including Memory Grove.

3- Avenues area including City Cemetery and Lindsay Gardens.

4- University of Utah, foothills and canyon mouths.

5- Red Butte Canyon and Forest Service land.

6- East Bench, including Pioneer State Park and the Zoo.

7- Emigration Canyon

8- Parley's Gulch and several golf courses

9- Upper Millcreek, a mile or so up the canyon and along the foothills.

10- Southeast Circle – southwest Holladay including Cottonwood Creekside and Murray parks.

11- Southwest Circle –several miles of Jordan River and Meadowbrook Golf Course

12- West Circle includes easternmost of Lee Kay ponds.

13- Airport with golf course and numerous wetlands west and north.

14- Lower Jordan River, close to mouth of river and many nearby ponds and sinks.

15- Northwest Circle – more wetlands in the Jordan River Delta.

16- Capitol Hill, Ensign Peak and Beck Street gravel pits.

17- City Center – mainly Liberty Park

*For 2005, the counts for Areas 4 and 5 were combined.

+In addition to the counts by the 2-man team, a third individual also counted in the Area and saw a few birds that were not registered by the original team.

#In addition, there were two individuals who contributed their feeder counts from within the official circle, which would not have been covered by official counters, and which will be included in the final tally submitted to National.
