Nests in a deciduous tree or in a cliff at a height of 20-30 (6-70) feet, in a platform nest. This species is not a cowbird host. This species is a carnivore/insectivore: ground/air hawker.
  
Habitat: Breeds in Utah in agriculture and aspen habitats.
