feeding:
Typically feeds on grasses and aquatic plants and on waste grains in cultivated fields.
Habitat: Shallow lakes and ponds and harvested fields.
  
How to find: This uncommon spring and fall migrant has also been seen during the winter months near shallow lakes and ponds especially at golf courses.
