Nests in a cliff or in a tree at a height of 10-100+ feet, in a platform nest. This species is not a cowbird host. During the breeding season, this species is a <B>carnivore: ground hawker</B>. During the non-breeding seasons this species is a <B>carnivore: ground scavenger ground hawker</B>.
  
Habitat: Breeds in Utah in cliff and high desert scrub habitats.
