characteristic behaviors:		 Nests in a bank or in a snag at a height of feet, in a burrow or cavity nest. This species is not a cowbird host. This species is a piscivore: water plunger.
  
Habitat: Breeds in Utah in lowland riparian and wetlands habitats.
