While I have always loved birds and photography I didn't become serious about bird photography until I moved to Florida in 2004. With so many birds species there easily accessible it wasn't long before I was hooked. Moving to the Salt Lake area of Utah has been wonderful.
Equipment: I use Nikon gear. I primarily use a D200 with a Nikkor 200-400mm VR lens, quite often with a 1.4x TC.
