Background:
I have been an avid birdwatcher for many years. After retiring and moving to
Utah from Illinois in 2005 I discovered Farmington Bay and Bear River
Refuge. Those are our most frequent birding areas. Lee Kay Ponds has now
been added to that list. My husband, Jerry has started to "bird" with me. I
am not an expert by any means, but love being outdoors, enjoying the birds,
animals and sunsets. Jerry does the driving on dike roads and lets me take
my time as I try to "capture" the birds we see. He also takes a few shots
once in a while. Love the fellow birders we have met along the way. We are
both volunteers for HawkWatch International. Photography is a hobby and now
video has become a fun passion.
