I’ve loved nature all my life. I started birding in 1996 and became the Editor of the Utah County Birders Newsletter a few years later. I carry around a pocket size camera perfect for taking photos for Field Trip Reports, Birding Locations, documenting a rare sighting in an ‘emergency’
(when there are no real photographers present) and I can occasionally get a tolerable photo of a bird if I get close enough.
I appreciate all the great photographers that post their photos on the utahbirds.org photo gallery. They are very skilled, spend lots of time and money, and we are all grateful they share their spectacular images with us.
